As that one shovel-faced, man-hating, women's-libber on your Facebook newsfeed has probably pointed out, today is International Women's Day! Unlike real holidays (like Columbus Day), International Women's Day was designed (probably by a lesbian) to recognize the "female struggle for equality". Sadly, there is no special day recognizing the female struggle to read road maps, dispose of mice without screaming, pee standing up, or to do push-ups without using their knees.

However, we here at Awful Dating Profiles would like to express our admiration for today's female. Thank heavens for International Women's Day. It gives all of us a chance to reflect on modern womanhood and to recognize all of the advances women have made in fields like duckfaced selfies, posting pictures of food they'd like to make on Instagram, and sending topless pictures on Snapchat. After seeing what womanhood used to look like in bygone eras, who would ever want to go back to those awful days before women were "liberated"? We sure don't.

So, to women everywhere.... You've come a long way, baby!
